DESIGN WORKSHOPS

Helping people create their dream homes is an absolute passion of mine.

I've crafted these design workshops based on my own design process centred around the discovery of your HOME-STYLE. I use this same approach with my clients and they love it. The many exuberant student testimonials show they are loving it too!

Whether you’re renovating or extending, building new, making cosmetic upgrades or just desperate to finish off your home interiors -
these workshops are for you.

I’ll be taking you into my design world and together with other design-lovers, you're going to learn the skills and knowledge you need to finally overcome the anxiety and confusion that’s held you back from making your home the sanctuary you need.

PART 1 - DISCOVER YOUR HOME STYLE

Part 1 starts on the inside by gaining a deeper understanding of your personal story and style preferences that make up your HOME-STYLE, then identifying exactly how your ideal spaces are going to look and feel, with a focus on one key room. You’ll write your home’s vision statement, create a beautiful mood board and learn the essential styling principles for laying out your spaces. These principles can then be applied to your entire home. You’ll go from confused and anxious to confident and excited to get started.

PART 2 - CREATE YOUR DREAM HOME

In Part 2 we work outwards, from room to overall home layout, from inside to outside. It’s time to create the perfect backdrop in the interior and exterior shell of your home so your style flows inside and out seamlessly. You’ll learn the essentials about harmonious floor plans, internal space design, beautiful exterior elevations and how to create a big picture INSIDE-OUT concept to keep you and your design / building team on track. Along with a design brief that communicates exactly what you’re after – spatially, functionally and aesthetically.

We highly recommend you take Part 1 also to really dig deep into your unique and personal design style.

With 30 years in the design and construction industry and having worked on all scales of design from Interior Design to Master Planning - I’ve learnt you must start with the end in mind. That’s your overall purpose right? The quality of life you’ll be living when your home project is complete.

Which is why we don’t start with floorplans and building finishes. We start by gaining a deeper understanding of your dream interior spaces then zoom out to create the perfect backdrop with a big picture inside-out concept for your entire home.
